Meet Our Founder
Hi, I’m Lija — Founder and Creative Director at Mos & Arch.
For over 15 years, I have worked across some of Australia’s most prestigious agencies and projects, collaborating with industry leaders to bring ambitious designs to life. Founding Mos & Arch was a natural evolution for me. It was an opportunity to create a practice that prioritizes listening, understanding and creating design with precision and intent.
Growing up in Cairns, North Queensland, I was surrounded by nature, creativity and an appreciation for the presence of a space. I have always believed that great design isn’t about imposing change, rather it’s about enhancing what exists and shaping it with purpose. My approach is to honour the integrity of a space while aligning it with my clients’ vision, ensuring every project - no matter how bold or unconventional - is both functional and beautifully elevated.
With expertise in interior architecture, spatial planning, materiality and technical detailing, I take a holistic approach to design, ensuring that every project is delivered with clarity, balance and purpose. My listen-first, create-second philosophy has led me to collaborate on some of Australia’s most iconic builds, delivering interiors that are timeless and highly considered.
